Blind Wine Society

An intentional community

Path to Membership

Membership begins with curiosity, participation, and a genuine desire to help the entire table learn.

A deliberate path,
not a transaction.

The Society grows carefully. Fit, availability, and contribution matter more than credentials or the size of a cellar.

01

Discover

Understand our analytical approach, expectations, and culture before seeking an invitation.

02

Participate

When an appropriate opening exists, prospective members may be invited to experience a tasting with the group.

03

Contribute

Bring curiosity, preparation, thoughtful wine, and a willingness to support the learning of everyone present.

04

Consideration

Membership is considered personally and intentionally. An invitation is never automatic.

How to begin

  • Learn about the Society and review the membership principles.
  • Attend an appropriate public or introductory event when space permits.
  • If you already know a member, ask them to connect you with the organizer.
  • Be patient. Small tables and thoughtful pacing are part of what makes the experience work.
